About Cory Thompson

Cory Thompson, a former student-athlete from Fruita, Colorado, established this scholarship fund to give back to the community that supported him. Inspired by his own journey and the challenges he faced, Cory is committed to helping student-athletes achieve their educational goals. His vision is to empower young individuals to succeed in both academics and sports, fostering a new generation of leaders.

Scholarship Details

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be high school seniors or current college students who are actively participating in a school sport. They should demonstrate academic excellence and a commitment to their community.

Application Process

To apply, submit a 500-word essay detailing how sports have influenced your life and your educational aspirations. Applications are accepted annually from January 1st to March 31st.

Award Information

The Cory Thompson Scholarship awards $1,000 to the selected student-athlete. The recipient will be announced on our website and notified via email by April 30th.
