Cory Thompson, a proud native of Fruita, Colorado, has dedicated his life to empowering young athletes. With a degree in Sports Management from the University of Colorado, Cory has spent over a decade working in athletic development and youth mentorship. His passion for sports and education led him to establish the Cory Thompson Scholarship Fund, aiming to provide financial assistance to student-athletes who demonstrate exceptional talent and commitment both on and off the field.

Application Process
To apply, candidates must submit an essay detailing their academic and athletic achievements, along with their future aspirations. The application deadline is March 31st each year.
Award Details
The scholarship awards $1,000 to the selected recipient, to be used towards tuition, books, or other educational expenses.
